A Rhea County man is at Erlanger this morning following an early morning stabbing.

It happened around 2 o'clock this morning on A-C Robinson Lane in Dayton.

They say a fight started after Arthur Robinson asked Richard Allen Nixon to leave.

Robinson told the Sheriff's Department that Nixon was trying to grab his daughter, and that's when a knife was pulled.

Robinson suffered cuts and was treated on scene.

Nixon was taken by Lifeforce to Erlanger.

The Rhea County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.
