Forget the Sleet or Snow
Three thousand four hundred fifty-six. Remember that number.
An Alabama judge has sentenced a husband and wife who worked as contract drivers for the U.S. Postal Service
to probation for failing to deliver thousands of pieces of mail. Senior U.S. District Judge Charles Butler Jr. Monday
sentenced 28-year-old Jeffrey M. Brown and 27-year-old Cassie L. Brown to probation for delay or destruction of
the mail. The Browns who now live in Ocean Springs, Miss., say they couldn't finish their routes on time and
became overwhelmed.
And in a dumpster investigators found mail never mailed. Three thousand four hundred fifty-six.
