Indoor Dope-Growing Bust

Two people are in jail today after deputies say they discovered and indoor marijuana-growing operation.

During the process of answering a routine disorder call Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies says they discovered an indoor marijuana grow at 8703 Snow Hill Road.

Deputy Eliott Mahaffey and James Gienapp were investigating the disorder around 2: 00 a.m. at 8703 Snow Hill Road. While talking with the parties involved in the disorder Deputy Mahaffey requested a consent to search the residence.

They says during the search 144 marijuana plants were found in the basement with a street value of about $175,000. Sgt. Duane Hill from the Narcotics Division was called to assist with the investigation.

Arrested were Andrew Richie and Bradley Kyle. Richie was charged with Manufacturing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of an Unlawful Weapon. Kyle was charged with Drug Paraphernalia and the investigation is continuing.
