Girl Stabbed and Cut 15 Times

Authorities in Athens, Tenn. are searching for a man suspected of stabbing a girl 15 times after breaking into her apartment last night.

The victim, Brandi Moses, lived at Lee Manor. She told police that a man wearing a black mask over his face came into her bedroom and started stabbing her. She said she began to fight back, kicking at the man, but sustained at least 15 stab wounds and cuts on her arms and legs.

She was apparently able to drive the man off and as far as she knows, he fled on foot.

The only description she could rpovide police was that he was between 5'9" and 6'1" in height, wearing a black mask and white gloves.
