Nissan says the recall includes 140,000 Nissan Altima cars from the 2007-2008 model years. It also involves 2007-2008 model years of the Infiniti EX35, G35 Sedan, G37 and the Nissan 350Z, Murano and Rogue.
Nissan's North American headquarters is in Franklin (Tennessee) and the carmaker has an assembly plant in Smyrna and an engine plant in Decherd (DEK'-urd).
