The Tennessee Board of Nursing has suspended the licenses of two nurses in the NewsChannel 9 viewing area.

Billy J. Games, RN of Jasper was suspended of his nursing license effective Sept. 2, 2010. Games was immediately prohibited from working as a nurse for:

• failure to disclose conviction of a crime; and

• threatening behavior.

The Board of Nursing has also suspended the license of Devon B. Norris, RN of Rossville, Ga. The suspension of his nursing license was also effective Sept. 2, 2010 and he too is prohibited from working as a nurse.

Norris’s nursing license was suspended for:

• knowingly exchanging information, sexual dialogue and a nude picture of himself with two females he believed to be underage, and arranging an encounter with the females for sexual interaction; and

• being arrested and charged with attempted statutory rape; attempted child molestation, and computer pornography/sexual exploitation of a child.

Both have the opportunity to participate in an informal conference before the Board of Nursing on Sept. 7.

Games was originally licensed as a registered nurse in Tennessee in 1990.

Norris first was licensed as registered nurse in Tennessee in June 2010.
