The spill happened around 11 o'clock Thursday morning at Apison Pike..
Police say a McKee Truck was rounding a curve on the railroad tracks when the vegetable oil spilled out of the truck..
People on the scene say about 25 gallons spilled onto the road..
The oil congealed on the road making the cleanup process much longer..
The road was supposed to be back open by five..
