WAYLAND, Mich. (AP)-- A southwestern Michigan teenager has been found safe in Athens, Tennessee after disappearing over the weekend.
WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids says 15-year-old Wesley Ayers of Wayland turned up in Athens on Tuesday morning. He was found sleeping in a car in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
A 24-year-old man believed to have talked the teen into leaving home and a 19-year-old neighbor of Ayers also have been found in the car.
All three are in police custody.
An Amber Alert issued Monday has been canceled.
WMSH-AM in Sturgis says Ayers' mother discovered her son missing from their apartment early Saturday.
