One person is dead this morning and another recovering at Erlanger Medical Center after a fiery crash on I-75 last night.

Chattanooga police tell us one tractor-trailer rear-ended another on the southbound side of the interstate -- around the Bonny Oaks exit. Police have identified the driver killed as 37-year-old Horace Cook of Atlanta, GA.

Southbound traffic was shut down -- and traffic diverted -- while emergency crews worked to put out the blaze, and clean up the accident.
