Man Killed After Shooting Inside Chattanooga Playground
One man is dead, one is in the hospital, and one is behind bars after a shooting in Chattanooga tonight.
Police tell us several men got into a fight inside a park and playground near Crutchfield Street at Queens Drive.
Marshall Brown lives across the street and says he heard several gun shots and saw a number of people running from the area.
"Sound like light like a pistol you know like a twenty five and went pow pow pow and shot three or four times," Brown says.
"We have confirmed two people shot. Confirmed on is deceased at Erlanger, both of them are at Erlanger," Lt. Tim Carroll, with the Chattanooga Police Department, says.
Lt. Carroll says the victims transported themselves to Erlanger.
He also tells us one man is in custody and that they're continuing to interview witnesses to find out exactly what happened.
No identifications have been released yet.
