Issues facing the state of Tennessee were discussed at the Hamilton County Pachyderm Club at its weekly meeting Monday.
Beth Harwell, who serves on the state education committee was the guest speaker for the group. She talked about subjects such as long term healthcare, scholarship programs, and charter schools.
"We have very limited revenues facing our state and we want to make sure we are using them wisely." said Harwell.
The Pachyderm club meets every Monday, except holidays, at Niko's Southside Grill.
