Suspicious Package Destroyed

A suspicious package in Collegedale and people are evacuated.
We're told the package was found behind the Old Winn Dixie building by an officer on routine patrol around 4:30 this afternoon. The Bomb Squad was called to Apison Crossing Shopping Center on Apison Pike. Dispatch tells us the package was detonated and ended up being an empty box wrapped in Christmas paper.
