We discovered LATE this afternoon a north Georgia judge denied bond for a former LaFayette police officer accused of killing his estranged wife.

Sam Parker appeared in Walker County court Tuesday trying to get bond.

Judge Jon Wood took it under advisement after more than two hours of testimony.

Three people testified in that hearing Sam Parker had threatened to kill them in the past.

Theresa Parker has been missing now for more than 11 months.

The office of Sam Parker's attorney confirmed to us less than 90 minutes ago bond was denied.
