Fort Oglethorpe Police Receives Grant
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Fort Oglethorpe Police Department and the Mountain Area Traffic Enforcement Network (MATEN II) have been awarded a $15-thousand grant from the Georgia Governor's Office of Highway Safety. The grant was awarded because the MATEN II Coordinator is employed by the Ft. Oglethorpe Police Department.
The terms of the grant allow for $7,500 to go to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department to be used for traffic safety projects.
MATEN II is made up of 49 law enforcement agencies from: Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Polk, Walker and Whitfield Counties.
