Decatur, AL (AP) - Police in Decatur say they are unsure whether the disappearance of a city police officer is related to his job.

A spokesman said Monday investigators are trying to determine what happened to Sgt. Faron White. The 48-year-old White has been missing since Friday night, and authorities say there were signs of a struggle in his police office. Relatives reported him missing on Saturday.

A spokesman for the Decatur Police Department, Lt. Jonathan Green, said alot of things could have led to White's disappearance. He said officers are still trying to sort through the possibilities.
