Prisoner Sues His Supervisors

May 7, 2008 - 9:07 AM

A prisoner is suing Bledsoe County, the Sheriff's office and the jail administrator, claiming a violation of his civil rights.

Kenneth Meyer claims, among other things, there are no medical request forms available, inmate grievance forms are not answered, and he gets only two meals a day with 16 hours between breakfast and supper.

He also says there is no library or commissary. Meyer wants the court to fix the problems.
