Arrest in Morning Stabbing

Around 11:30 Monday morning the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office received a call of a white male outside a convenience store located at Highway 27 and McCallie Ferry Road.

Anthony M. Pruett of the Bakewell area had been stabbed in the chest. Pruett was taken to Erlanger Hospital.

The Criminal Investigations Division arrived on the scene and began to investigate. This afternoon James L. Parker Jr. was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
