Massage Parlor Robbery
The Dalton Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who held the employees of a massage parlor at gun point while robbing them late Tuesday night.
The incident happened at approximately 10:00 pm at the GQ Spa located at 2217 Chattanooga Road. The suspect got a massage from one of the spa employees. After about a half hour, the massage was over and the suspect produced a stainless steel semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the three women working in the spa. He took $140 cash from one of the women. Before he left, he tied the women up with plastic zip ties and gagged them with white masks and left the business on foot.
The suspect was described as a black male standing between 5’10” and 6’2” tall with short, balding hair and a short, thin beard. He was wearing a white Hawaiian-type shirt with floral print and a white floppy hat with dark stripes. He was recorded by the spa’s surveillance cameras, and two of those images are included.
