Local Restaurant Featured on Live! With Regis and Kelly
A restaurant from Sequatchie County will be featured on "LIVE! with Regis and Kelly" on Friday morning in the show's first, "Ultimate Hometown Grill Off."
Viewers can nominate their favorite hometown recipe for ribs, chicken, burgers, fish, veggies - any delicious grill or BBQ dish is eligible, even side dishes, and the chef who cooked it up is nominated as well. Each week Regis and Kelly will fly in one of the nominees to prepare the dish on their show. At the end of the summer, one dish will be named the "Ultimate Hometown" winner, and that chef will have the opportunity to appear in an upcoming issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine with the winning recipe.
'Catfish Tacos' recipe from Connoisseurs Catering in Dunlap, Tennessee will be announced on the 'Live! With Regis and Kelly' show tomorrow in the category of Grilled Fish. After the show, viewers can log onto the show's website and vote for the chef and recipe they'd most like to see on "Live." Voting will be open from 10 a.m. ET tomorrow until 10 a.m. ET on Saturday. The winner wil lbe announced on Tuesday, and he or she will fly to New York to appear on "Live" and prepare the recipe Friday, June 26.
