A Lookout Mountain, Georgia, woman was arrested and booked at the Walker County Jail this afternoon for filing a false police report on April 25th, 2008, with regard to being raped at gun point on Nickajack Road, Flintstone.

The sheriff said this is the woman who originally reported that she had been raped at gunpoint by two men impersonating police.The sheriff would not discuss an alleged motive for the false report.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson announced that detectives charged Crystal N. Snider, 23, of a Lookout Mountain, Georgia, address with one count of false report of a crime.

Snider was released from jail on bond and will appear in Walker County State Court on June 7, 2008.
