Traffic on Airport Road

You can expect to see some traffic on Airport Road for the next few weeks.

The city of Chattanooga's resurfacing Airport Road between Shepherd and Shallowford.

It started around 8 in the morning today and is expected to continue for several weeks, depending on weather conditions.

The city says, drivers should expect delays and are advised to take alternate streets.

The resurfacing is a project taken on by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
