Polk County Schools Close Due to Illness

Polk County schools will be closed Thursday & Friday because the number of students who have been out sick.
Director of Schools, James Jones says Chilhowee Middle School has 36 percent absentees. Eighteen percent of students at South Polk Elementary are out sick. Same with Copper Basin Elementary School at 18 percent.
