The signs posted on the front door and windows says the property has been seized for non-payment of state taxes. We contacted the Department in Nashville and found out seizures typically happen after a step by step process.
The Department of Revenue says a business owner has up to 55 days before liens fall on a property. We learned this afternoon from Officer John Collins of the Chattanooga police department that Club Phoenix has paid its fine and will be open tonight.
