Dade County Jailer Arrested

A Dade County, Georgia jailer now faces charges himself.

A Trenton police report shows 22-year-old Frankie Blake Smith pulled a knife on Colby Craft in the Guthrie's parking lot Thursday night.

The report indicates this was a disagreement over a woman.

Police said Smith admitted to pulling the knife and saying he was going to cut Craft's throat.

Smith has been charged with aggravated assault and battery. Sheriff Patrick Cannon terminated Smith, who had only been on the job for three weeks.
