Fireworks Photo Contest Winners Announced
Comments 0 | Recommend 0We received about 70 entries in our NewsChannel9.com Fireworks Photo Competition. No grand prizes here... except for bragging rights.
Drumroll please.... the best of the entries was submitted to us by tmaster2. With this particular entry tmaster2 said, "Who says tripods are required?" During a two-second exposure, the movement of the camera and the movement of the fireworks created an absolute beautiful design in the night sky that fascinated our judges.
Folks didn't have to provide real names for this little contest. On our web page tsmaster2 says she is from Trion, Georgia and describes herself as a Professional Animal Photographer.
Our next four winning entries are in no particular order. dsawrie ... remember, these are screen names.... dsawrie took this beautiful shot from a distance capturing the BIG picture in a BIG way.
This picture called "Hokey Smokes" came to us from airhogg. Make note of the boats resting beneath the fireworks on the Tennessee River.
And we have yet another shot in our Top Five Best Fireworks pictures from tmaster2. For the camera buffs, tmasters 2 says this photo was a one second exposure with a Nikon D200 at F-7.
And finally we were enthralled by the array of colors in this picture sent to us by annetter.
Thanks to everyone who shared their photographic talent. If you want to see all sixty-four entires, just the "Just For Fun" Photo Gallery.
While you're there, feel free to upload your own pictures to that gallery or the many others we provide for you to show off your pets, your kids, your cars or anything else your especially proud of.
