Cooking Grease Assault

Associated Press

An East Tennessee man has been charged with  dousing another man with hot cooking grease as they were making
their way to the supper table.

The Daily Post-Athenian in Athens reports that 62-year-old  Winslow Prock of Sweetwater is in custody at the McMinn County Jail, charged with aggravated assault by domestic violence.

Records show Prock lives at the same address as the man who was  taken to a hospital Tuesday with third-degree burns on much of his body, 41-year-old Kevin Barackman.

Prock was being held on $10,000 bond. A jailer said records do  not show that Prock has hired an attorney.

Chief Deputy Tim Smith said Prock's daughter announced supper  was ready and Prock picked up a skillet full of hot grease and doused Barackman with it.
