Gruesome Testimony In Start Of Houston Brothers Trial

    The trial continues for Leon Houston, the first of two brothers on trial for the brutal death of a Roane County deputy and his friend in 2006.

    Today the medical examiner testified body parts from Deputy Bill Jones' ride-along partner, Mike Brown, were found 100 feet away. A pathologist testified  Deputy Jones was also shot 18 or 19 times. She says Jones had fired all 15 bullets in his gun before the final fatal shot to his head.

   Testimony also shows Mike Brown was shot 11 or 12 times, including four in the head or neck. The search for the Houston brothers also included parts of Meigs County. Depend on us to keep you updated as this trial unfolds.
