Touching T.C. Thompson Video Featured on ABC
Comments 0Children from the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger were featured on Good Morning America’s Weekend edition recently. They were part of the Your Three Words segment, in which viewers from around the world submit home videos of themselves displaying three words that reflect their state of mind.
Dr. Eric Gratias, Sarah Williams (age 10), Omarion Clemons (3), Taylor Crutcher (2) and Joshua Freeman (3) were selected from a three-minute video produced and submitted by T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital Foundation. The foundation’s video was made in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and debuted September 20 at Taste of Hamilton Place – a fundraising event for the hospital’s cancer and blood disorders program.
Inspired by GMA’s Your Three Words segment, the foundation produced the film in-house using a home video camera.
“The video is an example of our efforts to harness new media to tell our story,” says Betsy Chapin Taylor, chief development officer of T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital Foundation. “In this ever-changing economic climate, grassroots efforts like these can have maximum impact with minimal investment.”
