Cobb County, Ga. police said it appeared 17-year-old Asia Leeshawn Ferguson from Springfield, SC died instantly when he was hit by the Batman ride at Six Flags. Ferguson had apparently climbed a fence trying to retrieve a cap dropped while riding the Batman ride.

Georgia State Senator Jeff Mullis and a representative from the Mayor's office dressed like Davy Crockett were arrested when they tried to deliver water to the Georgia state capitol.

Somebody is using pristine land in Athens as their own personal dump. Adult diapers, used bed pads and medical waste can be found littered along Sweetfield Valley Road.

Police in Waycross, Georgia said they questioned a group of third-graders about a plot to kill their teacher, apparently because she had scolded one of them for standing on a chair.

51-year-old Gayle Winfrey was accused of setting her boyfriend's car ablaze. Investigators said that after setting the car on fire, Ms. Winfrey said she went back to her boyfriend, telling him that he "might want to get some marshmallows."
#2 - Search Continues for Missing Walker Co. Woman
Judy Payne from Dade County, Ga. went missing in July and her car was found in the Cloudland Canyon State Park. Her body was ultimately found at the base of a cliff in the park. At the time authorities said foul play was not suspected.

Teacher Accused of Molesting Young Girls
A kindergarten teacher at Chickamauga Elementary is facing five child sex charges in Catoosa County related to at least two young girls. Warrants against Tonya Craft accuse her of fondling and digitally penetrating little girls. Craft's case has still not been heard by a grand jury.
