Climate Change Festival Celebrated Saturday
Chattanoogans joined together and going green during a Climate Change Festival over the weekend.
The Festival was held at the Crash Pad, a LEED certified building, which means it's best-in-class in green certification.
It is made from all re-purposed items.
There were several speakers, including Mayor Andy Berke. Who talked of how Chattanooga went from being one of the countries dirties cities to what it is today.
"To build public support for policies that will bring more energy efficiency to our country," Chris Lunghino with the Sierra Club Beyond Coal Campaign said.
22 local organizations came together to make this event happen.
