Dunlap Residents Celebrate July 4th
Many of you enjoyed some great July 4th celebrations all across our viewing area. One of the biggest celebrations was in Dunlap, TN. Hundreds lined the streets of downtown with smiles painted across their faces.
It's the Dunlap's fourth of July parade and carnival and the crowd is ready to see the procession. Everyone has their favorites, but most of the kids say their only there for the loot. Nine-year-old Christine Jennings says she's got what she came for "candy, Popsicle, and bracelets."
From talking with some of the people, we learned the Dunlap parade is something that you don't miss. "Oh lord, I'm 51. I've probably only missed this about two or three times in my whole life," says Greg Harvey.
But if you think the parade is only for local residents, think again. After traveling into Dunlap from out of state these sisters have a lot to look forward to. "A lot of fun. A lot of activities. A lot of meet and greet that you won't see anywhere else. Local is best," says Cathy Morgan.
