More Teens Have Escaped From the Same Detention Facility in Nashville
UPDATE: Breaking news now – a swat team has been called out to the same detention center in Tennessee that teens escaped from earlier this week.
(WKRN)--NASHVILLE, Tenn. -A guard at a Tennessee Department of Children's
Services youth detention center was reportedly attacked after as many as 20
juveniles got out of the building and started running around the facility's

Detention Center Monday late night.
Police were called to the facility on Stewart's Lane Wednesday night around
The teens were allegedly walking around the yard when a guard was attacked
with a stick. The extent of the guard's injuries were not immediately known.
The juveniles are still on the property and have yet to leave the property.
Woodland Hills claims to have had extra staff on hand because some of the
students had just returned from Davidson County Juvenile Court having faced
charges related to Monday's breakout.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene along with Metro police
who have positioned cruisers around the perimeter of the facility to ensure
the teens do not make it past.
As of early Thursday morning the Woodland Hills staff was trying to talk to
the youths and encourage them back into the building.
Six teens from the first escape remain at large.
