Multiple Sunday Morning Shootings in Chattanooga
Chattanooga police are investigating multiple shootings in Chattanooga Sunday morning.
Dispatch confirms one shooting happened around 4:30 AM at 8108 Graham Road. Police say a black man was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of a single gunshot wound to his leg. The injury is not considered life threatening.
Another shooting was reported around 5:00 AM, this one at 3401 Campbell St. Police say when they arrived they found a black woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her hip. She was also taken to the hospital by ambulance.
One other person showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot from a separate incident. Police say the victim, a black man, says he was shot at 2000 Rawlings Street. His injury is also considered non-life threatening.
No word if the shootings are connected or not. Anyone with information on any of these shootings are asked to call police at 423-698-2525.
