A man faces two counts of attempted criminal homicide in Hamilton County, accused of setting fire to a home at 1045 Boy Scout Road.
Robert Allen Sherrill, 56, is also charged with aggravated arson. Detectives say Sherrill was arrested last night in Red Bank following the investigation into the Sunday morning fire.
It happened at 4:30 am. Police say Sherrill set the fire just hours after the mother of his child confronted him about retrieving some of her property. Police say Sherrill torched a car in the garage while his infant daughter was inside the house.
Firefighters did contain the blaze to one side of the home. Damages are estimated at $120,000.
