'Thumbs Up:' Baby-on-the-Way Gives Parents a Memorable Ultrasound Photo
This baby isn’t even out of the womb yet, but it already seems to be living the “no worries” lifestyle.
Take a look at this sonogram photo posted to Reddit on Aug. 28 by the soon-to-be father, Brandon Hopkins, that has now gone wildly viral.
“Recent ultrasound results look good,” Hopkins, 31, of Meadville, Pennsylvania, captioned the sonogram of the baby giving a clear-as-day thumbs up for the camera.
The happy parents don’t know the sex of the child yet, but confirmed they’re expecting twins in January.
“I thought it was really cool,” Hopkins told ABC News of the perfectly timed shot.
Fans of the photo on social media have been quick to nickname the laid-back baby “Fonzie fetus,” after the “Happy Days” character who always flashed a thumbs up.
Of course, one can't rule out that this could be a tribute to the late Roger Ebert or the late Gene Siskel, the movie critics who made thumbs an essential part of their repertoire.
