Tennessee Vols coach Butch Jones said his team has had a great start of the week. Of course, the Vols are in preparation week for a visit from the Utah State Aggies.
Jones praised the Aggies in his news conference Tuesday, calling them "big, strong and physical."
He also pointed out the challenge of controlling dual threat quarterback Chuckie Keeton.
But the second year leader of the Vols sees a bigger challenge going into this season opener. Jones noted, "The first games are the games of the unknown and we probably have more unknowns than anyone else in the country. And how are your players going to respond? The overall discipline, the penalties, the mental penalties which we've spoken about all of training camp, being assignment sound, lining up right, being able to execute."
Those are all questions that will be answered in Neyland Stadium Sunday at 7:00pm.
Keep in mind, the Aggies won the Mountain Division of the Mountain West Conference last year.
Coach Jones called on fans to come out in numbers. Also, the game will be televised on the SEC Network.
