I-24 to Close for Weekend Repair
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A mile-long section of Interstate 24 eastbound will be closed in downtown Chattanooga for weekend concrete repairs.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the highway's eastbound lanes would be closed from 7 p.m. EST Friday until 6 a.m. EST Monday.
The stretch to be closed extends from mile marker 178 to mile marker 179.5 and is near the I-24/US 27 split.
Eastbound traffic will be rerouted onto local streets around the construction site.
