Jailer, Former Fire Chief Indicted in Grundy County

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reports two former public servants have been indicted by the Grundy County Grand Jury in unrelated cases.

Dewayne Rollins faces charges of Official Misconduct and Theft of Property over $1,000. Rollins served as Fire Chief for the city of Monteagle from August of 2005 until June 2007. He was fired from his job and the TBI began investigating Rollins in October. Rollins is free on a $10,000 bond.

In an unrelated case, Robert Tudors faces charges of Official Misconduct and Sexual Contact with an Inmate. Tudors served as a correctional officer at the Grundy County jail in Altamont. The TBI had been investigating Tudors since July of 2007. Tudors is free after posting a $7500 bond.
