Volkswagen Career and Supplier Expo

There will be a Volkswagen Career and Supplier Expo on November 20, 2008, 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Chattanooga Trade Center.

Volkswagen is seeking Professional and Administrative Staff & Local Suppliers of a range of products and services

Volkswagen will be accepting resumes and registering candidates for the following areas:

• Administrative Support
• Community Relations
• Controlling
• Finance
• Human Resources
• Information Technology
• Process Engineering
• Quality Assurance
• Safety and Environment
• Training and Development

Volkswagen plans to fill the posts within the next three to six months.

Volkswagen will hold seminars at the expo on the history of the company, its strategy to sharply grow its presence in the United States and the automaker's work environment.

For supplier companies, Volkswagen also will offer seminars to show how to do business with the automaker and what it is seeking from businesses.

Volkswagen has partnered with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, Chattanooga State Technical Community College, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and other entities to promote the Career and Supplier Expo and communicate related information.
