Authorities in Chattooga County, Georgia are investigating an apparent murder-suicide.

They say that Wednesday evening, Clint Wade, 30, is suspected of getting into a fight with another man at his home on Mitchell Road. They believe Wade killed the other man and dumped his body in a nearby pond. Wade then returned to his home where he shot and killed himself.

Authorities have not released the identity of the other man yet. They say they have recovered his body.

Wade's neighbors described him as "a mild-mannered man, except when he started drinking."

Wade has a 1-year-old son who is believed to have been at his grandmother's house next door when the shooting took place.
