Chattanooga Man on Top 10 List Captured in Indiana
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today has taken one of its latest Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive additions off the wanted list after he was arrested by law enforcement in Michigan City, Indiana.
Preston Deshawun Muncy, 36, was at his place of employment when a patrol car pulled up on an unrelated matter and Muncy flew the premises. Co-workers began researching, found out that he was wanted in Tennessee and notified authorities. He was taken into custody on Friday.
Muncy, from Chattanooga, was wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Soddy Daisy Police Department for Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault. On August 3, 2009, Muncy and his girlfriend targeted her estranged husband to steal his disability check and assaulted him.
Muncy has a criminal history that spans Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Georgia for theft, DUI and contempt of court.
