Multiple Wrecks Blocking Area Interstates

Chattanooga police ar currently working multiple separate wrecks on area interstates. Wrecks are reported on I-75 in the vicinity of I24 split and East Brainerd Rd.

Also other wrecks on Interstate 24 to the west. Sgt. Jerri Weary with Chattanooga PD said, "There are numerous accidents working in the area of I-75 from Exit 11 to 153 and Lee Hwy (SB). Please advise citizens that the interstate has been shut down. The exact number of accidents and whether or not there are injuries is unknown."
