District Attorney Says Officer Did ''Nothing Wrong''
Comments 0 | Recommend 0We have an update for you where a Cleveland man claims police abuse. District Attorney Steve Bebb says he reviewed the evidence from the traffic stop of Levar Williams.
Bebb says he looked at officer Tyler Pride's dashboard video and concluded officer Pride did nothing wrong. Police chief Wes Snyder reached the same conclusion.
In his report, officer Pride says he used his Taser gun on Williams after he ran from him. The officer says the shock caused him to fall and resulted in his injuries. Williams and his family say one fall could not cause these injuries.
The district attorney said if they want to sue, let them sue. We asked both the police department and district attorney for a copy of the dashboard and Taser gun video, but were denied.
District Attorney Bebb says if a lawsuit happens, the video would become public.
