Missing Persons

These people are missing and are being sought by law enforcement officials within the NewsChannel 9 viewing area. Desmond Hall

Desmond Hall, 14, has been missing since Jan. 3.

His stepfather told police Desmond had just been released recently from juvenile detention for running away previously.

He was last seen wearing blue jacket with a hood and the numbers 40 in black on it and a black polo, and blue jeans with red design on the back.

He is 5'8", weighs about 120 lbs. and has an earring in his left ear.

Donnie Lee Payne

A missing persons report was filed Sept. 14, 2008 with the Bradley County Sheriff's Office for Donnie Lee Payne, who had his last contact with family members Sunday on Lowery Street.

Attempts by several relatives, as well as detectives, to find him have been unsuccessful and his cell phone has been turned off.

Payne is 73 years old and usually wears dark colored dress pants and a flannel shirt.  He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Renewed Search for Marsha Brantley

The Bradley County Sheriff's Dept. has issued a renewed plea for information regarding the disappearance of Marsha Brantley.

Brantley was 51 years old when she was last seen in late May or early June of 2009. She was not reported missing until November when a friend contacted a local attorney to report she had not been seen for several months. The attorney passed the information to the District Attorney’s Office and they notified the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Bob Gault, spokesperson for the Bradley County Sheriff's dept. said, "Recently the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office accepted a significant role in the ongoing TBI investigation to seek new information in the missing persons case."

Gault said at the time of her disappearance Brantley was married to Donnie Brantley and they had no children. He has told the TBI that his wife left him and they were planning to divorce.

Brantley is about 5’ 8” weighing around 125 pounds. She has light brown hair and blue eyes.

Brantley was known to enjoy camping and frequently spent time in a family-owned camper in Townsend Tennessee. Investigators have not found the camper and are seeking information about it as well.

Tonya Miller Missing in Winchester, TN

The Franklin County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in finding a missing woman.

Tonya P. Miller of 283 Hooper Rd. Winchester, Tn. was reported missing by her husband Adam D. Miller on Thursday February the 3rd at approximately 2:05pm.

According to a report filed by Mr. Miller he has had no contact with Mrs. Miller since Friday January the 21st.

Mrs. Miller reportedly suffers from depression and bi-polar disorder and it is imperative that she receives her medication.

Mrs. Miller is 35 years of age with brown hair and is possibly traveling in a 2003 green Ford Taurus license tag number 075WTG.

Virginia Anne Greene

Virginia Anne Greene has been missing since June 12, 2009. She was last seen walking from her residence on South No Pone Valley Road in Decatur, TN around 11:00 a.m.

Virginia is 19 years old, and is described as 5 feet 1 inches tall, 260 pounds, with brown hair and black eyes. Her family is in fear for her safety because she has bipolar disorder.

Miranda Burns

Last seen at 3234 Rauschenberd Rd. in Dalton, Ga. on March 3, 2009.

Her guardian said Miranda had placed pillows under her covers to look like she was in bed. The guardian did speak with Miranda on a cell phone and the girl said she was in Murray County with another runaway, however she didn't know exactly where she was. The police report said the guardian believed Miranda was "drunk."

She was last seen wearing a black hoody sweatshirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. He guardian said this was the third time she ran away.

Cathy Dickson (on left)

Missing from Sequatchie County, TN 5'4", 100 lbs. Last seen 11-07-2005 Cathy is a 42 year old with a history of schizophrenia. She was reported missing by her mother and was last seen leaving her home on Cagle Mountain. She was driving a red 1992 Plymouth Colt with TN Tag #BEB-386. Patricia Louise Kelley

Missing from Bradley County, TN A cold case file of Patricia Louise Kelley's disappearance 22 years ago is being reopened by the Bradley County Sheriff' Office. Kelley was 25 years old when last seen on Wildwood Avenue in Cleveland. When she disappeared she was 5-6 and weighed app. 135 pounds. Sandra Hale, a.k.a. Sandra Plumley

Bradley County Sheriff's Office asking for help locating a missing Perry, Georgia woman. Last seen May 18, 2005 Told her boyfriend she was going to Chattanooga. James Layne

Missing from Red Bank, TN Last seen June 21, 2005 enroute to the VA Clinic in Murfreesboro, TN (possibly via taxi cab). He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans and carrying an insulin bag. Victor Showers

Missing from Chattanooga, TN DOB 9-10-44 5'03", 200 Pounds, Thinning Reddish Gray hair, wears glasses. Mr. Showers was last seen at #30 Tunnel Blvd. at the apartment complex. Missing from Chattanooga, TN DOB 01-24-56 5'04" tall, 120 pounds, Black hair, Brown eyes. Missing from 2207 Bailey Avenue since March 12th, 1994.This victim mysteriously disappeared sometime after 3-12-94 according to family members. She was known to frequent north Georgia. Contact Det. Missing from Chattanooga, TN since March 1989 DOB 8-28-73 5'11" Tall, 95 Pounds, Black hair, Brown eyes. Missing from 615 Hamilton Avenue on 3-15-89. The victim was 15 years old at the time she disappeared and was last seen walking home from school. Several witnesses saw a black female being forcibly placed into a vehicle in that area.
