RIVERBEND TOYOTA TACOMA GIVEAWAY
- How to Enter the Contest:
- The Riverbend Toyota Tacoma contest will begin on Monday, May 4, 2009 and will end on Saturday, June 13, 2009. This is a multi-radio station contest, with qualifiers selected from the various participating radio stations (WSKZ, WGOW FM, WOGT in Chattanooga, TN).
- To participate in thie contest, there are five (5) ways to qualify.
- WSKZ: Listeners must listen for the "cue to call", which will be announced on WSKZ four (4) times each weekday between Monday, May 4, 2009 and Thursday, June 4, 2009, with the exception of Monday, May 25, 2009 (Memorial Day), between the hours of 6:00am and 9:00pm ET. Caller number ten (10) after the "cue to call" is announced on-air will qualify for the Grand Prize, subject to confirmation of eligibility. A total of ninety-two (92) qualifiers will be selected through this entry method.
- WGOW FM: Listeners must listen to WGOW each weekday morning between Monday, May 4, 2009 and Thursday, June 4, 2009 at approximately 7:40am ET for the Riverbend Toyota Tacoma Word of the Day for that day to be announced on-air. If caller number ten (10) after the "cue to call" is announced on-air can correctly identify that day's Riverbend Toyota Tacoma Word of the Day, they will qualify for the Grand Prize, subject to confirmation of eligibility. If the caller answers incorrectly, the next caller will be selected and given the opportunity to answer; this will continue until an eligible caller is selected for that round. The daily "cue to call" will air on WGOW three (3) times each eligible weekday during the contest period, between the hours of 8:00am and 7:00pm ET. A total of sixty-nine (69) qualifiers will be selected through this entry method.
- WOGT: Listeners must listen for the "cue to call", which will be announced on WOGT three (3) times each weekday between Monday, May 4, 2009 and Thursday, June 4, 2009, with the exception of Monday, May 25, 2009 (Memorial Day), between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm ET. Caller number seven (7) when the "cue to call" is announced on-air will qualify for the Grand Prize, subject to confirmation of eligibility. A total of sixty nine (69) qualifiers will be selected through this entry method.
- Capital Toyota and Toyota of Cleveland/Riverbend Festival: Listeners may visit Capital Toyota, located at 5801 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421 and Toyota of Cleveland, located at 3560 Village North Blvd., SW, McDonald, TN 37353, during regular business hours, Monday-Saturday 9:00am-8:00pm ET between May 4, 2009 and June 11, 2009 and completely fill out a registration form with their name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number and date of birth.
Attendees of the 2009 Riverbend Festival may also completely fill out a registration form with their name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number and date of birth and submit it into the designated entry box at the Citadel Broadcasting/Toyota booth. Each night between June 5, 2009 and June 12, 2009 (with the exception of Monday June 8, 2009), the eligible entries received from Capital Toyota and Toyota of Cleveland and all the eligible entries received at the Riverbend Festival will be combined and one (1) entry will be selected at random from the combined pool of eligible entries up to the time of that drawing. Entries must be received by 7pm in order to be eligible for selection on the day such entry is submitted; otherwise, the entry will be eligible for all subsequent daily drawings. - Text Messaging: Listeners may qualify by submitting a text message entry containing the keyword for that day to the designated number. Text messaging will be open each day between 6pm and 12am (and must be received during this window in order to be eligible for selection that day). Each day's designated number and keyword will be displayed on the video screens and will be available at the Citadel Broadcasting/Toyota booth at the 2009 Riverbend Festival, and will be announced on air during the contest period. There will be a new designated message each day between June 5, 2009 and June 12, 2009 (with the exception of Monday, June 9, 2009.) All eligible text message entries received each day will be combined and one (1) qualifier will be selected at random each evening. Text message entries do not carry over each day; listeners must submit a text message each day to be eligible for that day.
Stations are not responsible for any lost, disconnected, dropped, misdirected or incomplete telephone calls or text messages. Stations are not responsible for lost, stolen, mutilated, destroyed, misdelivered, postage due, illegible,incomplete or untimely entries. Entrants may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the sponsors.
- There can be only one (1) qualifier per family/household in this contest. Listeners may qualify no more than one (1) time in this contest.
- Eligibility Restrictions:
- The contest is open to all legal United States citizens, 18 years of age or older and who reside in the Chattanooga, TN WSKZ, WGOW FM and WOGT listening area. Employees of Citadel Broadcasting Chattanooga, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, WTVC-TV, it's licensee Freedom Broadcasting of Tennessee, Toyota of Cleveland and Capital Toyota, their subsidiaries, affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio and television stations in the Chattanooga, TN area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Immediate family shall include spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and any other person residing within the same household.
- Only one (1) qualifier/winner per household is permitted in any contest.
- Participants in the contest must possess valid government issued photo identification.
- The Grand Prize winner will be required to sign a Citadel Contest Winner Release Form as a condition of receiving a prize in this contest.
- Text message based entry into any contest is subject to the contest rules, Station's standard terms and conditions and Station's privacy policy. The foregoing policies can be obtained from the Station website or by sending a written request to Station for a copy of such policies. Standard text messaging rates, as established by an individual's wireless carrier, may apply, and the Stations assume no responsibility for any fees or charges incurred for and associated with any text message sent to or from the Stations. Any and all fees arising out of the transmission of a text message shall be the sole responsibility of the entrant. By participating in a contest in which text message based entry is permitted, entrants acknowledge that text messages are distributed and delivered through third party providers; Stations do not guarantee, and shall not be responsible for, the delivery or timeliness of any text message entry. Station will at all times consider the time that a message is logged as arriving in its system as being the time of entry, regardless of the time at which the entrant attempted to send the entry and any technical problems or other complications that may have delayed its delivery. Stations are not responsible for service outages, message failures, transmission delays or any other factor affecting the availability or performance of the text messaging service. Contests with text message based entries are subject to Station's Privacy Policy. By participating in the contest, entrants agree that the Stations may contact that entrant at the telephone number from which the text message entry was received. All text message entries must come from a valid and identifiable telephone number. Stations reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entry if that entry's source and sender cannot be reasonably determined. Station, through it's third party text messaging administrators, will store all messages received on its system. Stations may require, on request, proof of identity as to the rightful owner of the phone number from which the text message entry was sent.
- Prizes:
- There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded in this contest. The Grand Prize is a 2009 black 4x2 Toyota Tacoma, VIN number 5TENX22N99Z653509, ARV: $17,840.00 Winner shall be solely responsible for any and all taxes, license, registration and title fees. Any and all fees, costs and other expenses not explicitly set forth herein shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Grand prize is provided by Capital Toyota and Toyota of Cleveland.
- Grand Prize winner will complete paperwork at either Toyota of Cleveland or Capital Toyota.
- Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.
- Grand Prize winner will receive 1099 IRS Tax form from the accounting designate of Toyota of Cleveland and Capital Toyota for the value of the grand prize as stated in these contest rules.
- Prizes are limited solely to those items explicitly set forth herein and shall not include any and all other expenses, incidentals or taxes that may arise out of the winner's receipt of this prize.
- Prizes will be awarded as is, with no written or express warranty.
- Selection of Winners:
- Decisions of Citadel Broadcasting Chattanooga, WTVC-TV, Capital Toyota and Toyota of Cleveland management with respect to the contest are final.
- Listeners may enter and qualify as set forth in Section 1 of these contest rules. There will be a total of two hundred forty four (244) qualifiers selected in this contest. On Saturday, June 13, 2009 at approximately 10:00am ET, from the pool of eligible qualifiers, nine (9) Finalists will be selected at random. A tenth (10th) Finalist will be selected at random from the combined pool of eligible entries received at Capital Toyota, Toyota of Cleveland and at the Citadel Broadcasting/Toyota booth at the Riverbend Festival. The tenth Finalist will be selected on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at approximately 7:30pm. From among the ten (10) eligible Finalists, one at a time, one (1) Finalist's name will be selected at random. As each name is drawn, that Finalist will be eliminated; this shall continue until there is only one (1) Finalist remaining. The last remaining Finalist will be declared the Grand Prize Winner, subject to confirmation of eligibility.
- The Grand Prize drawing will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at approximately 9:00pm ET. The winner will be notified by phone using the contact information provided when they registered/qualified. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, or otherwise forfeits the prize, within ten (10) days of their selection, they will forfeit and the eligible Finalist whose name was selected second to last will be deemed the winner, subject to confirmation of eligibility. This will continue until an eligible winner has been selected or all ten (10) Finalists have forfeited or been disqualified.
- If the Grand Prize winner is deemed ineligible for any reason, or is otherwise disqualified, eliminated or forfeits, the next to the last name drawn will become the Grand Prize winner.
- The odds of qualifying depend upon the entry method through which a listener attempts to qualify, and the total number of eligible listeners who attempt to qualify through that entry method. The odds of becoming a Finalist, once qualified, are 5 in 127. The odds of winning the Grand Prize, once selected as a Finalist, are 1 in 10.
- Conditions:
- Photo identification and social security number of the Grand Prize winner may also be required in order to collect the prize. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent. Winner will be responsible for payment of tax, tags and doc fee to Toyota dealership prior to taking possession of the Grand Prize. Winner will receive a 1099 for the value of the prize as stated in these contest rules.
- Winner is required to sign a release in order receive their prize. Failure or refusal to execute the release will result in winner forfeiting the prize. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold Citadel Chattanooga, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, WTVC-TV 9, it's licensee Freedom Broadcasting of Tennessee, Toyota of Cleveland and Capital Toyota, their subsidiaries, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
- By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling companion, if applicable) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
- The Station reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify the contest rules and dates at any time for any reason. Material modifications shall be announced on-air, when practical. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these contest rules, any modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by Station management. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Station, any event associated with this contest or the prize is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
- No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
- Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of contest sponsors.
- Contest sponsors are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
- Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of all participating sponsors, or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Citadel Broadcasting.
- Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of greater or equal value at its sole discretion.
