The Tennessee Department of Transportation will take on its most ambitious construction task to date when it closes a short section of Interstate 40 in downtown Knoxville at 12:01 a.m.
April 10 through April 16, 2008 **** and highlighted areas indicate changed conditions or new project.Lane closure information is provided to the Tennessee Department of Transportation by the contractors.
The 1300 block of Gunbarrel Rd between Elaine Circle and Elaine Trail will be closed for utility work beginning Tuesday, April 8, 2008 to Wednesday, April 9, 2008 between the hours of 8:30 a.m.

Chattanooga's Wilcox Tunnel will be closed for inspection on Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 9:00 a.m.
There will be temporary lane closures on Shallowford Road between Jersey Pike and Airport Road will be closed on Monday, March 31, 2008 until Friday, April 4, 2008 for paving.
Hamilton County I-75 Widening Project, Mile Marker 9.0 to 13.0 (Bell & Associates Construction) As part of the above-listed project, there will improvements made to Old Lee Highway that include the construction of a new bridge over Wolftever Creek.
