Saffore, Jurick to Be Teammates in Rocky Top Summer League
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A pair of seven footers from the area have been selected to play in the Rocky Top Summer Basketball in in Knoxville. Chattanooga Sophomore center Jeremy Saffore and Fromer East Ridge center Phillip Jurick will be teammates on the News-Sentinel team. Other past and present Vols in the league in names like Ron Slay, Jordan Howell, Tyler Smith and Wayne Chisim. Lee University's Cole Rose and former Bradley Central star Terrence Oglesby (who is now at Clemson) were also selected to play in the summer league. The league will play June 16-July 2 at Bearden High School, Monday and Wednesday nights with games at 6:00, 7:30 and 9:00 PM.
