Lookouts Lose Dismuke's Official Debut
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Lookouts Interim Manager Jamie Dismuke is now 1-1 after a loss Monday at AT&T Field 5-4 to Jacksonville in 10 innings. Dismuke picked up his first managerial win on Saturday in Huntsville, and the Cincinnati Reds officially announced that Manager Mike Goff would be leaving the team for personnel reasons the next day.
Dismuke, who lives in Chattanooga has served as the Lookouts hitting coach for the last 5 seasons.
Monday's game got off to a rough start when Russ Mitchell blasted a 3 run homer in the 1st. Jacksonville would add a run in the 2nd before the Lookouts fought back. Eric Eymann had a two RBI single in the 4th and B. J. Szymanski had a two RBI single in the 6th to tie the game up at 4. But the Suns got an run of a Lucas May sac fly in the 5-4 win. Sean Watson picks up the loss for Chattanooga.
The teams continue their series on Tuesday, first pitch is scheduled for 7:15pm.
