Mocs Seeded Fifth in NCAA Golf Regionals at Council Fire
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Southern Conference champion Chattanooga Mocs, ranked 13th in the nation, have been seeded fifth in the NCAA east regional tournament, which UTC will host May 15-17 at Council Fire.
The Georgia Bulldogs, ranked 2nd in the nation, got the number 1 seed for the east regionals and for the entire championship.
The other 25 teams headed to Chattanooga for the tournament: Charlotte, South Carolina, Duke, Auburn, East TN State, Michigan State, Ole Miss, UAB, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, Mississippi State, Georgia State, North Florida, UC-Irvine, Augusta State, SMU, Middle TN State, Coastal Caraolina, Memphis, Virginia, Western Carolina, Colorado State, New Mexico State, Western Illinois and Jackson State.
The top ten finishers move on to the NCAA championship round at Purdue May 28-31.
