Jackson South Side used a big fourth quarter to defeat Howard 67-53 Friday night in the semifinal round of the boys Class AA state basketball tournament in Murfreesboro.
The Hustlin' Tigers had the lead at the half, but Jackson pulled away in the second half to win it.
Howard, long a powerhouse program in the Chattanooga area, is still looking for its first ever state championship in basketball.Jackson South Side Beats Howard
